What this page is, and what it is not

Most clinics publish a price list and then explain, at the appointment, why your case is different. This page works the other way round: the figure comes after the assessment, and what we publish here is the way the figure is built, what is included in it, and what happens if it turns out to be wrong.

So there is no table of numbers below. That is not evasion — a price for a treatment plan depends on how many areas, which product and how many sessions, and any clinic quoting you a single number before examining you is guessing. What you can hold us to is everything else on this page.

Three things that are settled before you fly

The consultation is free. The video consultation costs nothing, and there is no deposit to reserve it or to reserve a treatment date. You are not asked for card details anywhere on this site.

The written quotation is the price. After your in-person examination you receive a written plan and a written price. Nothing is opened, injected or switched on until you have both. If the amount at the clinic differs from the figure you were quoted before you flew, tell us — you may walk away without paying anything. That is the arrangement, not a favour.

One price, whoever you are. The figure does not depend on where you flew in from, and there is no second schedule kept for people who arrived from abroad. Same treatment, same price, same written quotation. If you have a local friend who was quoted for the same plan, the numbers should match.

How a price is built here

Every quotation has the same three components. Ask which one you are paying for, and you will get a straight answer.

One caveat in plain terms: a plan sold as per-session and a plan sold as a programme can end up at the same total. We prefer the programme form when a treatment genuinely needs several sessions, because it puts the total in front of you at the start instead of at session four.

How to compare a quotation from anyone — including us

A quotation is a checkable object. The list below is not specific to this clinic: take it to any provider you are considering, including us. A serious quotation survives it, and one that does not was never a price.

• The product by brand and batch — not by adjective. “Premium hyaluronic acid” is not a product; a brand name printed on the packaging you are shown is.
• The quantity in units, millilitres or areas. A price without a quantity is an invitation to negotiate at the desk, not a price.
• The sessions stated in advance, including what happens if the physician adds one.
• The physician by name — the person who examined you and the person who treats you should be the same person, and you should be able to look them up.
• One total, in a stated currency. Not “from”, not a range that only ever moves upward.
• The terms in writing: what happens if you cancel, if you stop, if something is added mid-plan.
• Who you contact afterwards, through which channel, for how long.

Every quotation issued here is written to survive that list, and we are glad to be measured by it. The comparison costs you nothing — the video consultation is free, and so is walking away.

What we are not

We are not the cheapest option, and we are not trying to be. If the lowest possible price is the deciding factor, we would rather say so now than have you discover it after booking. What we do promise is that the number in the written quotation is the number you pay.

We do not run promotions. A figure that exists in order to be discounted was never the price. The quotation does not move with the season, with the channel you booked through, or with how quickly you decide — the same plan examined on the same day gets the same number. If a clinic’s figure can drop sharply when you hesitate, it is worth asking what the first figure was for.

Nothing appears on the final bill that was not in the quotation. If the physician thinks something additional is needed mid-treatment, the work stops, you get a written addition, and you decide. Nothing is added silently, and nothing is charged for work you did not agree to.

We are not a package-tour operator. Travel, hotels and meals outside the arrangement are yours to book and to pay for; the clinic arranges what it says it arranges, and nothing is marked up invisibly inside a treatment price.

Paying, changing your mind, and what happens if plans move

When you pay. At the clinic, after your in-person consultation and before treatment begins. Nothing is due to hold an appointment, and nothing is due in advance.

Cancelling. Tell us at least 72 hours before your appointment and you owe nothing. There is nothing to refund, because you have not paid anything.

Changing dates. Moving an appointment costs nothing — tell the coordinator as early as you can so the physician’s time can be released to someone else.

If the quotation changes. It can only change for a reason the physician explains, in writing, before the additional work happens. You can decline. You can also decline the whole plan at that point and pay only for what has already been done.

How payment is made, and in which currency. The quotation states the currency and the amount. Accepted methods are confirmed with you and written into the quotation before you travel, so there is no question on the day — if you plan to pay by an overseas card, tell the coordinator when you book so it can be checked in advance rather than at the desk.

If something goes wrong afterwards. Your record, the aftercare instructions and the direct channel to the clinic are all handed over in writing before you fly home, and the twelve-month follow-up schedule exists so that a problem at month eight still has somewhere to go. Why we do it this way

Stating prices on a clinic’s own site is permitted here — the rules governing medical advertising in China expressly allow a clinic to publish its prices and charges. So transparency is not a grey area we are being brave about; it is simply available, and most of what makes a price page useful is available with it.

The question worth asking about any medical-travel price page — including this one — is what the number on it is for. A figure published before anyone has examined you is not a price; it is advertising. To survive every reader it has to be an average or a “from” figure, and the real quotation then tends to arrive after the flights are booked, when the cost of walking away is no longer zero. That is the mechanism, and it works on you precisely because you will already have spent money getting there.

So this page holds the figure back and puts the machinery in front of you instead. The figure arrives once, in writing, after your examination — before you fly and before anything is paid, while walking away still costs nothing. That sequencing is the whole difference, and it is checkable on the day.

We would rather be compared on something checkable. The number in your quotation, the written plan behind it, and the fact that neither changes without your agreement are things you can verify on the day — and verifying them is the point.
