WHAT IS IT

Votiva What Is Intimate RF?

Votiva is InMode Clinic a women’s intimate health RF platform developed to Non-laser, non-ablative an energy-based intimate treatment platform consisting of two complementary handpieces:FormaV (bipolar RF, uniformly heating the vulvar and intravaginal mucosa to a therapeutic temperature of 40–42°C) and FractoraV (microneedling radiofrequency, delivering deep collagen remodeling at 1–3 mm beneath the vulvar surface). Licensed in China under the InMode RF platform listing.

Compared to laser, which works through Ablative mucosal Unlike ablation-induced repair, Votiva works through Radiofrequency current penetrates tissue, Delivering controlled volumetric heating directly within the dermis and lamina propria. When collagen fiber temperature is steadily maintained at 40–42°C, existing collagen chains undergo immediate contraction while fibroblast activation and new collagen synthesis are simultaneously initiated.Without disrupting the surface epithelium, therefore Minimal downtime required · No abstinence from sexual activity · No restriction on baths or sitz baths Surface tightening, deep collagen remodeling, and Vulvar skin remodeling each serve a distinct purpose — not a “one-size-fits-all” approach.

FormaV suitable for addressing the need for Uniform, broad-area heating cases involving GSM-related dryness, decreased sexual sensitivity, vulvar skin tone and mild laxity, intravaginal tightening, or adjunctive support for mild stress urinary incontinence.FractoraV suitable for addressing the need for deep collagen remodeling cases involving significant vulvar skin laxity, subdermal structural remodeling of the labia majora, or improvement of vulvar fine lines and pigmentation. Our physician will determine at consultation whether a single-handpiece or dual-handpiece combined approach is appropriate for you.

Votiva Intimate RF vs. CO₂ Intimate Laser — Comparison

Treatment plan Energy mechanism Recovery period core positioning
Votiva Intimate radiofrequency Radiofrequency (non-laser) Non-ablative thermal stimulation minimal downtime Comfortable maintenance / upkeep
CO2 Intimate laser 10,600 nm Laser Fractional micro-ablation 7 days of sexual abstinence required Aggressive tissue reconstruction / faster onset of results
Er: YAG Intimate laser 2,940 nm Laser superficial thermal effect 1-3 day a middle-ground balanced approach
Topical estrogen hormonal Receptor activation none First-line choice for GSM without contraindications
non-hormonal lubricant and moisturizer — surface physical none Adjunctive support for mild symptoms

Note: Votiva and CO₂ Laser intimate rejuvenation Not mutually exclusive Surface tightening, deep collagen remodeling, and Vulvar skin remodeling each serve a distinct purpose — not a “one-size-fits-all” approach. A common clinical pathway is to complete 3 sessions of aggressive remodeling with CO₂ Laser first, then maintain results with annual Votiva treatments. Alternatively, patients with mild to moderate concerns who prefer minimal downtime may choose Votiva as a standalone protocol.

Why does “non-laser, non-ablative” matter for certain patients? Some clients, due to their work schedule, relationship dynamics, psychological factors, or concerns about ablative treatments, require Normal daily activities and intimacy may be resumed the same day. the right solution. Votiva bipolar radiofrequency meets this need — no microchannels, no tissue sloughing, no required abstinence window — while still delivering structural improvement for GSM, mild laxity, and vulvar skin concerns, making it Highest comfort level the right approach.
HOW IT WORKS

Votiva How Intimate RF Works

From the moment radiofrequency current penetrates tissue to reach the target temperature, to the immediate collagen contraction and subsequent fibroblast activation — the entire process is initiated within a single 20–40-minute session, with your own tissue continuing collagen remodeling over the following 4–12 weeks.

1

Gynecological assessment and indication confirmation

During your consultation, our physician reviews your menstrual history, obstetric history, menopausal status, medications, and prior gynecological reports. When indicated, our physician may request recent vaginal swab results, HPV, or TCT (cervical cytology) reports to confirm GSM · Postpartum laxity after vaginal delivery, mild SUI, vulvar skin laxity, reduced sexual sensitivity Confirmed indications, along with screening to rule out metal implants (a contraindication for FractoraV microneedling) and active infection.

2

FormaV Uniform heating (vulva + intravaginal cavity)

The FormaV bipolar radiofrequency handpiece is applied along the vaginal walls and vulvar area Slow, deliberate movement with real-time temperature monitoring, bringing tissue temperature Maintaining a steady therapeutic window of 40–42°C for 3 to 5 minutes Surface tightening, deep collagen remodeling, and Vulvar skin remodeling each serve a distinct purpose — not a “one-size-fits-all” approach. This temperature range triggers Immediate collagen contraction (type we collagen contraction) and Heat shock protein (HSP) expression, Triggering fibroblast activation. Throughout the treatment, clients typically experience a gentle warmth with no pain.

3

FractoraV Microneedle RF (1–3 mm beneath the vulvar skin surface)

Where a patient also presents with significant vulvar skin laxity or structural changes to the labia majora, our physician uses FractoraV microneedling radiofrequency to create controlled deep thermal zones 1–3 mm beneath the vulvar skin surface. Each radiofrequency needle creates beneath the skin Micro-thermal coagulation zones surrounded by preserved healthy tissue, activating deeper collagen remodeling. This step requires Topical anesthetic cream Applied 20 minutes prior to treatment.

4

Fibroblast activation and new collagen synthesis

Thermal stimulation triggers heat shock protein (HSP) expression and fibroblast activation, within 2-12 week Stimulates new synthesis of type we and type III collagen, elastin, and extracellular matrix glycosaminoglycans, leading to systematic improvements in mucosal thickness, vulvar skin elasticity, and vaginal tone. Patients often notice initial improvements in firmness and hydration after the first session, with peak results achieved after three sessions.

5

3 sessions per course of treatment · Single annual maintenance session

The standard treatment course is 3 sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart, 20–40 minutes per session. Improvements in tightening and dryness may be noticed after the first session, with peak results reached 8–12 weeks after completing all 3 sessions. Clinical data indicate that results are maintained for approximately 12-18 months, A single annual maintenance session is recommended, and this approach also serves as an effective long-term maintenance plan following a completed CO₂ Laser intimate rejuvenation series.

SAFETY FIRST · Three Layers of Safety in Intimate Radiofrequency

Three Layers of Safety in Women’s Intimate Radiofrequency

The inherent safety margin of radiofrequency is broader than that of laser, however incorrect indication selection and Missed diagnosis of serious pelvic conditions remains a key risk. Our physician addresses this through the following three layers of safety measures.

01

Prerequisite gynecological screening

All patients are required to provide HPV and TCT results along with a vaginal discharge panel from within the past 12 months to rule out cervical pathology and active infection. Referral to a gynecologist will be arranged if indicated.

02

Rigorous contraindication screening

FractoraV Microneedle RF is contraindicated in patients with internal metal implants (such as metal IUDs, pacemakers, or artificial joints in the treated region). Our physician reviews each item individually during consultation.

03

Transparent risk disclosure

A written informed consent form clearly outlines the level of clinical evidence, a comparison with laser-based options, the recommended maintenance schedule, and available alternatives — so you can make a fully informed decision.

CANDIDACY

Am I a candidate for Votiva intimate radiofrequency?

The following are common suitable and unsuitable scenarios — however, the final decision must be made by our physician through Comprehensive intake interview + gynecological assessment + review of prior reports + screening for metal implants All decisions are made holistically. This treatment is intended exclusively for women with clearly defined medical or functional concerns.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Votiva Not “intimate cosmetics” — but functional energy-based treatment for clearly defined concerns.

The market for energy-based intimate wellness devices is filled with heavily marketed narratives — Luowei Medical Aesthetics Clinic does not participate in that approach. We provide honest expectation management for all Votiva patients:What it is well suited for, what it is not, when to consider CO2 laser instead, and when a referral to gynecology or urology is the appropriate next step., All of this will be clearly explained during your consultation.

Our physician’s position has always been consistent:: “Radiofrequency is not a second-tier alternative to laser — it is a different tool for different needs. Being a candidate does not mean treatment is always indicated.”— If you are told after your consultation that this treatment is not right for you or not necessary, please understand that this reflects our commitment to your wellbeing — not a shortcoming.

Common Reactions · Serious Risks · Contraindications · Safety Protocol

Transparency is itself a component of safety in intimate wellness care. We openly share all possible reactions, serious risks, absolute contraindications, and the safety protocols our clinic follows — so you are fully informed before your consultation. Our physician reviews every item with you prior to each treatment and asks you to sign a written informed consent form.

Common reactions (may occur in the short term following treatment)
  • Warm sensation during treatment (resolves within a few hours)
  • FormaV Mild, transient skin redness following treatment (1-2 hours to resolve)
  • FractoraV Mild redness at needle entry points for 24–48 hours afterward (resolves naturally, without scarring)
  • Very mild sensation of lower abdominal tightness (24 resolving on its own within hours)
  • A very small number of patients report mild changes in sensitivity on the day of treatment (resolving within 2–3 days).
Serious risks (rare, but you must be informed)
  • Burns / localized blistering— Extremely rare; associated with excessive energy settings or uneven probe contact. Mitigated by FormaV’s real-time temperature monitoring system and our physician’s mucosal-specific treatment protocol.
  • Worsening infection— The absence of active infection must be confirmed prior to treatment. Keeping the vulvar area dry and clean following FractoraV microneedling is essential.
  • Abnormal bleeding— Extremely rare, and most commonly associated with unidentified cervical pathology or prolapse; Our physician mitigates this risk through rigorous pre-treatment screening.
  • abnormal current conduction related to metal implants— FractoraV Microneedling radiofrequency is contraindicated in patients with internal or adjacent metal implants.
  • Results that fall short of expectations— Votiva Clinical evidence is stronger for mild-to-moderate symptoms; severe GSM or prolapse typically requires combination CO₂ Laser therapy or surgical evaluation.
  • Delayed diagnosis of significant underlying conditions— This is the most concealed risk in intimate energy-based treatments: using radiofrequency as a substitute for necessary gynecological or urological assessment can lead to delayed diagnosis. Our physician adheres strictly to a referral-first principle to avoid this.
Absolute Contraindications (Do Not Treat)
  • Pregnancy or actively trying to conceive
  • Menstruation / unexplained abnormal vaginal bleeding
  • Active vulvar, vaginal, or pelvic infection
  • Vaginal or cervical surgery or biopsy within the past 6 months
  • High-grade cervical lesions (HSIL / CIN2-3) or cervical precancerous changes
  • Moderate-to-severe pelvic organ prolapse (referral to gynecology or urology is recommended)
  • Unexcluded pelvic mass or suspicious lesion
  • Internal metal implants / cardiac pacemaker (contraindication for FractoraV microneedling radiofrequency)
  • Unrealistic expectations regarding treatment goals (seeking purely recreational or pleasure-enhancement outcomes)
Safety Protocol Strictly Enforced by our physician
  • All patients must provide HPV/TCT cervical screening and vaginal discharge test results from within the past 12 months prior to treatment.

That judgement comes from the physician who examines you in person, and it may well be “not this one”.

No deposit. No prepayment. You pay at the clinic.

You pay after your in-person consultation, before treatment begins. The price we quote online is the price you pay — in writing.
